Translating CE codes?

Does any one know where I can find what each CE Code means? Preferably a, free would be nice, web page.

Rite now mine is telling me 12, 44, 55 with the mileage in between each code. i know that 55 is the one that says it's done.

My Jeep is a 1996 GC with the I6, auto tranny, 2wd if it makes any diff.

Code 44: Battery temperature sensor volts malfunction. Problem with the batter temperature boltage circuit in the PCM.
