Transfer case question!

I put my 3.5 rough country lift on yesterday and my transfer case cross member had to be twisted pretty good to get the bolts to install.

Should I have backed off on the actual transfer case bolts until I lined up the bracket?

Why are you messing with the Tcase x member for a 3.5" lift?

Because it came with the spacers for the t-case. Should I take them out?
