transfer case I.D.

2004 G.C. Laredo 4x4, without owners manual...trying to identify exactly what model of tranfer case this model has in order to verify if it can be towed behind motor home or not. Has these positions, 2wd, 4wd h, 4wd, N and 4wd lo.

That's a 242 tcase, and it can be towed. Put the tcase in neutral, transmission in park for towing.
DD/Wheeler: 98 ZJ 5.2, 4.5" on 33s
DD/Wifeys: 00 XJ, stock
Weekend toy: 13 Challenger R/T Blacktop

You have the selec-trac which is the 242 transfer case with the 42re transmission...
