Transfer case drop?

got a 97 jeep zj 4.0. getting ready to put 3.5-4 inch lift on it. was wondering if i will have to drop the transfer case any? if so how much would you recommend? thanks

you don't need to drop the t-case

It may, but the majority of people don't have a problem at 4"

people on here with ZJs run 5.5" lifts and higher without a t-case drop

You probably have a u-joint front driveshaft so you will be fine at 4". If you have the CV style you might need to swap it. No need for a T-case drop.
