Then after ur done just fold the flap back and weld it then weld a plate over the incision if you want

...or keep the hole and use it as a new drain plug (put a rubber plug in it)

Sadly, the front half of the passenger side unibody rail is quite rotted. Thanks for the advice . I think it's time to look for that 5.9.....
