I had the same problem, took it to tranny shop and they couldn't figure out the problem for the longest time. Finally figured it out and it was the transmission computer

How much was that to repair cause it like I might have the same problem with mine

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.
