tranny making whistle noise????

i have a 02 grand cherokee limited has the 4.7 in it it is 4x4 when i take off with jeep in od i can hear from the drivers side a sound comming from the tranny like a whistle,, it only lasts till about 30-35 mph then it goes away....u can hear it over the flowmaster exhaustand if i step on it from a start its really loud and u can def hear it standing on the other side of street... i have a warranty on the jeep but it costs me 100 to get it looked at and if its not a warranty issue then i pay out of my pocket... anyone have any ideas what it could be ...
