Tranny issue

So the other night I had a ignition draw off fuse blow causing my jeep to basically shut down. Today it felt like my tranny was slipping. Once I hit 50 it would jerk alot like it was doing the Harlem shake down the road and my gauges started flipping out. Does anyone have any kind of advice for me?

I would disconnect the battery for an hour and see if the reset resolves the problem.

Then check all the fuses/relays in the PDC under the hood.

What fuse blew causing the shut down? The ASD?

Sounds PCM related since your gauges were all over the place. Have you checked your PCM connections. Also check for a short (02 Sensor) is the most common. That will take out the fuse as well. G/L. (Harlem Shake):teehee:

No that's what I thought it was but it's just a 20 amp fuse for the ignition draw off

Yeah my check engine light is for a o2 sensor so I'm going change that out

The o2 sensor was hanging down beside the drive shaft so I moved it up out of the way and I've been driving it around and not a single problem yet

CPS could cause weird gauges too.

Check the wiring on both oxygen sensors, front and rear. The rear one can get wrapped around the drive shaft and the front one can get burned on the exhaust.

If one of the sensors blew a fuse, it likely fried the PCM. Let's hope it wasn't this.

Yeah I hope not :/

How can I tell if the PCM is fried?

Well you said the sensor fixed your problem this far.

If your PCM was fried it probably wouldn't run/would run like crap.
