I'd be more apt to keep the vehicle you have maintenance history with.

My 5.9 has amazing acceleration, upgrade, fully loaded, wife and kids, A/C on high, 21' Chaparral in tow, overtaking slower traffic.

You trying to say a 5.9 Jeep can't be fast? Lol I can build a 5.9 just as well or better than I could build a mustang or camaro.. Fact of the matter.. Mustangs and camaros, cars as such are so cliche.. When you see a Jeep out running a 5.7 lt1 camaro or stang it's awesome!

We can go on forever about what "fast" is... straight line...track... auto X and so on...
You can build XX car to whoop on XX car ..so?
Question is....are you trading/building your jeep to "outrun camaro's and stangs"? What will be your purpose for the 5.9 trade?
(IMO) I feel I should point that out since it's the internet and some people Don't know how to take a reply.
I would keep the WJ.

Sweet
nothing against ur Niner...
My jeep just serves as my weekend toy. IF I had the extra coin at the time, would have been a WJ

I honestly find the ZJ a little more comfortable, for some reason, it feels bigger inside... must be time lord tech...

I felt the same. I feel the inside is crowded.

Id take a 5.9 over a 4.7 any day. I dont like that newer motor.

You can and you'll spend twice the money. There is almost no aftermarket support for Dodge. I know, I used to sell speed parts for a living. I've been a Ford guy all my life and I have to agree it's bad *** when a big ole GC stomps a Stang at the drags.

OT. I'd roll with the 5.9. Not a big fan of the 4.7. Pull the plug below the oil cap on a 4.7 and tell me what you find.

Rust never sleeps...

Still have the niner. Have been getting some sweet offers. The most likely one to happen involves a badass MJ and an XJ. We'll see.

Same issue all 5.2 and 5.9 engines will have. Well documented on this forum. Not sure what I can answer that isn't already posted here.
