Tow Strap Question

Which of these straps is better for recovery?

"Tow Strap, Loop Ends, 3 in. Width x 30 ft. Length, 30,000 lbs. Rating, Gray, Nylon, Each

Towing made easy and safe.
Made of durable, high-strength nylon, these Explorer Pro Comp tow straps resist weather, moisture, and abrasion, and have super-stitched, leather over-wrapped end loops for added durability. $70.95"

OR

"Tow Strap, Loop Ends, 3 in. Width x 30 ft. Length, 30,000 lbs. Rating, Yellow, Polypropylene, Each

Free stuck or disabled vehicles.
These heavy duty tow straps can be real lifesavers in emergency situations. They feature nylon webbing that stretches up to 20 percent during use, and then recoil to their original length when done. They're stronger and lighter than a chain, and more compact than a rope, so there's no excuse for not having one in your truck or SUV. $47.88"

I like the Procomp because it seems to be better made but it doesn't say anything about stretching for recovery. Does it? Which would you go with? I'm trying to get all my recovery gear ready for winter.

Maybe if you get lucky they will send you two like they did me. I bought the keeper one and then about 3 months later another one showed up out of the blue. For what it's worth, I've never had any problems with it.

I bought a yellow one from Walmart for 30 bucks. Had it for ten years and never had a problem.

i'm not sure what brand i carry where i work....i think it's Safewaze. if it's the same company i'm thinking of, they also make lifelines, safety harnesses for construction workers to prevent deaths from falls. i'm gonna have to look into that tomorrow when i go to work and maybe buy a strap for myself.

awhile back there was a misprint on www.pirate4x4.com that they were selling the pro-comp straps for $19.99. when they are normally like $50. I got one then and has worked fine ever since, only been used twice though.
