Tow Hooks

I have a 99 WJ and was wondering what, if any, aftermarket hooks fit the front of my jeep? If anyone is selling them I will buy. Also, are they hard to install? Tools needed? im 17 yrs old with little knowledge..haha..but NEED hooks because im scared of getting stuck because i'm a newbie. Thanks!

Hey man,

For the WJ I have seen kits go for around 120 on eBay IIRC. They are supposedly really easy to stall, just don't buy the single hooks as you will need the hooks/brackets to mount them properly.

Requires bumper cover removal and bolting them in to the unibody.

How is the entire hook kit only 96 bucks, but if you wanted to replace just an individual tow hook it would run you 106??

Sorry for the hijack.

The brackets are the expensive parts. The hook itself is like 10 bucks at Wallyworld.

www.jparts.com has them for $84.15. I've been looking at these, I've ordered from them before and had really good results. Here is the exact link for the hooks, and you can aso get them in chrome if you want for a few dollars more.

If the link doesn't work just go to the site and choose the GC, they are on page 10.
