Don't waste your money...Just to give you something to think about.

The purpose of the tornado is to swirl the air going into the intake. The tornado goes in the intake hose just past the air box. I'm quite sure that air is swirling like crazy until of course it hits that throttle body plate, then guess what? It's not spinning any more. Get a helix bore throttle body spacer that goes in after the throttle body if your going to get anything. Just my $.02

Gotta agree - IMO, you can't possibly gain anything by adding restriction to your intake. If it actually worked, you'd better believe a major manufacturer would be using it. If it's patented (likely), they would simply buy the patent rights - or the entire company!

If you buy the tornado, go ahead and buy the tape on blower engine intake. Both are worthless.

Prove it. The tornado does nothing for your airflow being increased or swirled properly. Not flaming you but, did you have the jeep dynoed or just seat of the pants?

I noticed a 1.5 mpg (or more) change and a seat of the pants feel at launch

That is the same type of thing I noticed from my DonAVee throttle body spacer.

No real gains, just a perceived gain.

Try the mopar performance ECU.

you'll see real gains and lots more gas being used to "really" check out those gains.

Did you use a BFH to adjust it?

I'm not ripping on the jeeper who owns it, I do however get really pissed at people who sell stuff that doesn't work.

tornado

I thought the whole purpose of the tornado was to stablelize the incoming air to help with the fuel burn. I didnt remember them saying that it would add horsepower I just heard them say it add fuel mileage.

it adds horse power because it leans the engine mixture out which creates better mpg.

Okay,

tell me how the Tornado which is stuck into the air tube leans out the engine mixture?

Hunter

If you want true performance gains, an aftermarket intake like the K&N series and the performance computer will give them to you. An apple core cutter stuck into the air intake hose isn't going to do that.
