Tires!!

got a 97 jeep zj 4.0. gonna put a 3.5 inch lift on it here in the next few weeks (soon as i get my transmission fixed ) now for the fun stuff! I will be building a thread about the build as i go, but it will be a few more weeks as i still have to get my transmission replaced. But to the point, I've been looking at multiple different tires to get. We got a 94 jeep wrangler with the walmart special goodyear authority 31 inch tires. We love them, and they are awesome for the price. But i dont want to have 2 of the same vehicles with the same tires (if u know wat i mean) So i want to know what mud tires everybody prefers to help me decide! Thanks in advance

OP- KM2's for the win! Most of the guys I wheel with run the old military surplus 37's, and I consistently outwheel them with my 35" KM2's. I haven't had a complaint in the 4-5 months I've had them on my ZJ.

Thats one of the tires im looking at. They seem pretty good, i like the tread pattern, tho i wish the outer lugs were more at an angle like the old mud tire. But i like them a lot and they decently priced too for size i want.

Before I bought mine, I had the list narrowed down to Definity MT's, KM2's, and Dayton Timberline MT's. KM2's were the best reviewed/most recommended/moderately priced tire that I could find.

I never considered them, the local Firestone around here is terrible. No way I was going to go in there. I got mine from Discounttiredirect.com for like $850 to my door.

I like the destination M/Ts! $1000 for 5 for my rigs though.
