how do tighten a windshield wiper?

Hi
Can anyone tell me how to tighten the driver's side windshield wiper? It flaps around and doesn't touch the windshield when it's windy or when i drive. works great when not moving

Tighten Windshield Wiper

Help

Anyone know how to tighten a windshield wiper? works great when i am stopped, won't hit the windshield when driving - FRUSTRATING

Actually, it's the arm itself - passenger side works without any problems

Sounds like you need a new wiper arm. There is a spring in it that holds the wiper tightly against the glass. You might try bending the arm so that more pressure is against the window as a temporary fix.
