Tie rod/drag link flip time

After spending an hour in a rock garden today and hitting just about every piece of metal I didn't want to hit (tie rod, SS, axles) on rocks, it is time to move that damn tie rod up and out of the way. I already have the JKS tie rod and after I got pretty stuck this one time I bent it a bit

Not really high centered so much as, not all of my weight on my wheels or something


New high clearence OME SS (custom bent housing via rocks) & my rear axle/diff stuck nicely:

Perhaps I am just trying to get my axle housing to match the nice dents in my muffler?

So I guess this means your skilled as well...(from a post the other day)

You actually bent that "bulletproof" tierod, I thought that thing was indestructable, leave it to you to figure that out.

That would make sense to get it up and out of the way, I wonder how that would work with the Dual SS setup, probably the same I would imagine.

It is barely bent...drives fine still Gonna order the JKS drag link this week probably and do the flip next weekend (or when ever I get the drag link)

The drag link is just as thick as the tie rod, they are definately beefy, I'm actually shocked that you even moved it.

I think I will do this mod at some point when I find time but I am going to have Tim help me make my own beefy tire rod and draglink... I can't afford the one kevin sells.
