Tomorrow (Saturday) I plan on removing the throttle body off my engine (5.2 V8) and cleaning it. To do this I need to remove many various cables and such, including the throttle cable. The throttle cable seems to be attached in a strange way. I can't quite tell how to remove it. Has anyone here done this before? I don't want to accidently break it. Below is a picture of the throttle cable on my Jeep.
1993 ZJ Limited 5.2 - no mods - Red with Gold (what were they thinking) trim.
It will pop off with a little screwdriver. It snaps on. The other two slip off by pushing them forward but they can break when the get old and the plastic dries out.
