Thought I was buying 33" tires...

turns out they are 35" or about 34.4" according to a tire size converter I found online. I could have sworn it said 33.1" when I checked the size before I bought them. Maybe I typed it in wrong...

So now I'm the proud owner of a set of 315/70/r17 BFgoodrich all terrain ta's with about 35%-40% tread left. My jeep currently has a 4.5" iro lift and according to everything I read these will probably be too large.

What are my options with these tires, besides reselling them, to get them to fit? I'll be running JK wheels with 1.25" spacers. I'd rather not go higher but if 1" more will work I'm all in. I'm aware the front bumper will need some trimming but I'd rather not cut any metal.

If there is no hope, I only paid $100 for all 4 so I know I can sell or trade them for a tire that fits better.

Lastly I measured the tire and it's physically only about 33" tall but that's unmounted so I don't know if mounting them on a wheel will change anything.

1.25" adapters are going to be cutting it very close. I was rubbing the coils in the rear and had to go to 2" adapters.

I guess we'll see what happens. I know you're all waiting on baited breath so I'll report back with my findings.

And whiteout, I'll get the 2" spacers. Thanks for the info.
