if you use regular isoprophyl(spelling?) rubbing alchohol it breaks up the adhesive and doesnt damage paint at all..

as for getting it back on idk yet.

The way I have removed them on multiple vehicles is by first getting dental floss and flossing behind the letters or emblems to remove them. From there use a 3M adhesive remover or acetone/finger nail polish remover. Finishing up with a light swirl remover compound on a DA to remove any remaining adhesive and a coat of wax.

You cab use wd-40 to get the sticky residue off. Thats what I have always used and it works great. Another little hint to getting the badges off is get some heavy test fishing line and use it to kinda cut the tape in half off the back.

Not sure if that last part made sense, haha.

Talk to kolak.

I did see a guy on ebay selling a kit. Included every emblem on the Grand Cherokee's brand new for $100.

Yep, this is the way to go. I have always used a hair dryer to heat up the glue and soften it up first, then use dental floss to remove the emblem. I've used both goo gone and 3M adhesive remover and both work well to get the glue off.

the heat gun could screw up your paint if your not careful. I used it on my emblems and it worked great but forget about re-using the emblems cuz they won't be salvageable.
