Sounds like a great excuse to start that "rebuilding!" I get excited(and a little mad) when somethin' on my jeep brakes cause I get to dig into my jeep, yet again!

oooooooh very very nice! I predict though that diesel will remain more expensive than gas so its something to think over. The WKs are nice, especially on the interior. From what I understand they handle much better for road driving. Has to do with the more independent suspension plus they ditched the solid front axles

Diesel is 1.99 here, vs reg unleaded is 2.09. Cost under 60$ to fill the Super Duty up with diesel, and the fuel light was on.

Couldn't agree more. Nice vehicles, but ruined by fit and finish.

ohh wow much different than it is here. Diesel in Mass is 2.20 I beleive, and regular 87 octane for my jeep is 1.70-1.80, it depends on the day.

I'd estimate $30-$40 to fill with gas light on but cant say for sure

LAMO...I guess some people have more money than sense. What did you expect from a WJ on 35's? Did you not test drive it or do any research before buying?

More money then sense? do research before buying? I've owned 4 different lifted Grands in my life, I'm well aware, *** Keep drinkin' the Hateraide

At the time, we were planning on staying in SoCal, but now it looks like we're moving to the mountains, and it would be nice to have something that you can drive 75 miles round trip a day. I might not sell the WJ, just turn it into a trail rig, but it is almost too nice to do that to, I feel bad. I'd rather sell it to someone who will get more use of it, and I can build a trail only TJ...

One in the same...
But yes, that contributes to the better ride.

I'm not scared to beat it up, I really just feel bad. Its such a nice Jeep, and it does drive great. It would make someone really happy as a short distance daily driver/weekend trail rig. I personally would be happier with a dedicated rig thats much more hard core, that can live on the trailer next to the barn.

Like I said, I was just looking at the dealer, they have a handful of new S4's. MPG isn't great, teens in the city, low to mid 20's on the highway, but still better then the 12mpg the WJ gets at best.

Pulling a large enclosed trailer, pulling the horse/stock trailer. Pretty hard to pull a trailer with 4 horses with a Jeep

Edit: I think the real question is why the hell do you own a '83 Camaro??
