is there a write up on changing the bulbs behind AC controls?

i have the manual non-AZC controls. all of a sudden the whole left driver side lights are all dimmed out. kind of ugly to look at.

Both bezels are pried out using a flat hard plastic blade tool (see ashtray lamp section above). The AZC unit is held in place by 4 Phillips screws. After removing the screws slide the unit out and unplug the two wiring harnesses in the rear. To open the unit, remove the two smaller knobs in front by pulling them straight out. Then remove the 4 rear screws with a Torx T-20 screwdriver to separate the front plate.

HTH.

Although it doesn't sound too good on the other hand if multiple bulbs
fail at the very same time... Ya might wanna look for a spare already
just in case...

EDIT:
The non-AZC mounts to the same bracket positions. The instructions
on how to start and remove the center console bezel thingy is also
on the website I posted above.

Except for one thing, Dark. Those instructions are for the AZC control panel. MEinSoCal specifically said his are the NON-AZC controls.

Sure, I read that. But this is as close as it can possibly get.

And once taken apart he'll figure out how and where to change the bulbs.

Yeah, true. The controls for my ACZ on my 95 are much the same, except the faceplate screws are on the back.

I had to replace the HVAC control cluster last year because the A/C button stopped working. Dark is correct, the HVAC cluster is only held in by 4 fasteners, however the bulbs just twist in, rather than being soldered in like the AZC controls.
