TeraFlex spring spacers?

So I got four of these 1.5" TeraFlex coil spacers today for my ZJ (not too thrilled that the store that sold em claims them to be 2"...when used with the existing .5" insulator I later learned ).

Anyway, got the rt ft coil off, only to find this thing will not fit over the bump stop mount. It barely squeezes over the rubber bump stop itself, but when it gets to the metal, there just aint no way
Did they give me the wrong spacers, or is there some trick I'm unaware of?

You have to take the bumpstop mount off. First remove the bumpstop with a screwdriver or something then there is 1 bolt holding on the mount. Install the spacer then reinstall the mount.

TYVM...Maybe I'll try again tomorrow, if I can find a proper spring compressor. The one I had today wans't the right type, and it seems it would be WAY easier with the right tools

You need strut compressors for the springs, I know it sounds wierd, but that's the tool.

As far as the spacers, I had to dremel out mine to get them to fit. Not much, just enough to get them to fit, it's kind of tiral and error.

Those front bumpstop's are a PITA to remove sometimes... but later when reinstalling just tape the bumpstop to the inside of the spring then after the spring is in take the tape off and use a small prybar to push the bumpstop into place.. some WD-40 or like lubricant helps out.
