Tell what you guys think about this 97 Grand Cherokee Limited

Iím in the market for a used Grand Cherokee. I found this in autotrader itís a 1997 Grand Cherokee Limited 93,850 mi, air bag, abs, ac, ps, cc, tilt, lthr, p/seats, p/windows, tint, am/fm, stereo, pdl, p/mirrors, sunroof, Limited. ULTIMATE OFF ROAD: 4" LIFT, 31" T/A TIRES, 10000# 'WARN' WINCH, 1000# STEEL BUMPER. The guy is asking $9000.00 but said he would take $8000.00. My question is he asking too much for this Jeep.

I think it's kind of high. I'd say $7500 max unless it has any mods like lockers, superior axle shafts etc.
But again, I don't know what else is out there.

Yes. Aftermarket parts really don't add to the value of the vehicle. You can find nice WJ's for that much (though I like the styling of the ZJ's more).

Off topic - I used to live down in Coto. I sure miss So. Cal.

blue book is 4100, id say 5000 max. that bumper and a lift kit arent worth 4 grand. IMO you are better off buying an unmolested stocker and building it up, because that way you know its never been off roaded to hell and back.

That's too much. For 3k more, you could buy the Orvis off Ebay if you want to spend that kind of money. It's not lifted and has a few flaws.
Heard some kid bought the 5.9 from the same company that's selling the Orvis.Told you someone would buy it,lol.
