Switch Autp trans

I have a Aisin 30-43Le auto trans that I would like to put in place of a 42re in a '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The aisin 4 spead has less than 30,000 miles and the 42re stopped working in all forward gears. Has anyone else done this before and what is involved? I think the aisin is not fully electronically controled.
Any imput would be greatly appreciated.
