Sweet and Cheap grill mod.

I was trying to find a grill that gave my zj some attitude and it doesn't seem make any kind of product that did my zj justice. So I made my own custom grill. Got black rustolum spray paint and clear coat. 5/16 bolts. And the backing of the grill around 20 total invested. Cheap and sick looking mod. Let me know yoir opinions.Enjoy!

Thanks-Alex

That is another one to add to the list. I think that is the best looking grill I have ever seen from all cars. Great job. What kind of bolts did you use and did you pre-drill holes?

Is the mesh one piece behind the entire grille or individually cut?? I dig the bolts too..they'd match my pro comp wheels!!!

Bolts are 5/16 in x 3-1/2 coarse thread stainless steel hex bolts. The back mesh was 2 pieces until I welded it lightly. You do have to trim the back plastic behind the grill just a tad and wire cut were the three tabs go down into the plastic.

I did this. But I went the other way with the expanded steel. Also different mounting method.
