Swaybar

I finally got a chance to crawl under today and find the bolt my Grandfather told me was broken. (He changed out my radiator for a Christmas present)

Looks like a swaybar bolt. Do I have to go to the dealership to buy a new one?

The other bolt? Cause the one on the passenger side is completely gone.

Buy quick disconnects. They will come with new bolts. Or just find a bolt of the same diameter and length.

I thought they did, just check Kevin's and they make them for 0-1.5" of lift. But might as well lift it cause it the same price for any length disco's.

leave the other bolt alone cause you may break it trying to get it out.
if you can measure it just find something similar in size, a dime , magic marker. then off to a store for a bolt.

Gents,

1. After reading this Virg never said go to the Dealership.
2. Demanding an apology and then being sorry for a thread hi-jack is silly.

JU is a great place to argue. Not here.

Wow! It's like driving an entirely different vehicle! The previous owner broke it so I haven't driven it like this before. Swaybars=good.

Couldn't have been more than 5 minutes to install it.

good to hear you got it fixed. Do keep in mind if one side was bad...you might want to check the other side to see if it is about to go too.
