swapped to a 242 today...

well i finally broke down and bought me a zj, my first, its a 95 orvis edition with just over 200k. i had an old volkswagen that i never used, and a guy traded me even for it. i immediately couldnt stand full time 4wd, so i bought a np242 from a salvage yard. the swap was relatively easy, i read the instructions on jeephorizon, although this case was a selectrac from a 93 cherokee, the splines were the same, the length of the case was the same as well. the only problem im having now is the linkage. the linkage lever will move to 5 different settings and im not sure why. i didnt have time to figure them out today, i just assumed it would be 2wd, 4hi, N, and 4lo. ill have to play with them tomorrow to get it set correctly.
