has anyone ever tried swaping the regular laredo climate control with the digital one that comes in the limited?

I remember reading about someone trying this over at www.jeepsunlimited.com/forums under grand cherokee forum. You'll have to use the search function.

Cannot be done, at least not without spending a small fortune and replacing most of the AC/Heating components.

Wouldn't you not only need the control box (switches and digital display) but the brains of the operation (unless it is all done in the switch-box unit) and the sensors for checking temp and the like?

Just dont do it

To tell you the truth I wouldn't the system in the limited really sucks I like the laredo's system its very simple basic and easy to use and it doesnt give you that annoying Err message so just dont swap them.
