Sunrrof troubles

I just replaced my sunroof with one from a wreckers. I tightened up the main nuts to "pinky" tight, and the sunroof wouldn't open. On a hunch I loosened up the nuts and the sunroof opens no problem. Is there a torque spec for these nuts? Too loose it leaks and too tight it wont open. Any help? Thanx.
