It's 20% total discount, so that would drop it to $263.00.

For those that are wondering, the "cheapest" system would be for those who want an aggressive 2-chamber muffler such as the Flowmaster Super 40. Those mufflers are quite a lot less expensive than the 3-chamber 50 and 70 series. I don't sell the 40 series often but I will as long as you know what you're getting into LOL.

still reasonable. i was quoted $296 in june for the full 3" with super 40. $260ish for an entire new exhaust system is an absolute steal.

so basically, i would have to pay more to have a quieter jeep? lame

i wish i had a bipolar muffler, loud when im showing off, and quiet on road trips and daily driving.

was talking about the crushed Pipe i know the wj has a pipe to the CAT thats Crushed defiantly not full 2.5 also if your gunna replace everything why used the 9 year old down pipe to ugly up your new shiny exhaust.

AEagle put a Cut-off in a y pipe and they have electric cut-off then it completely bypasses the muffler and comes straight out.

I've never made the downpipe because typically a muffler shop can make one up easily if need be. I'd like a photo of that kink if you have time to snap one. It would come in handy.

What's the latest word on Thorley headers for WJ's these days, are they sitting around drinking coffee and playing basketball with doughnuts, or have they produced more and shipping yet?

Ordered a bit of stuff from Nick yesterday, great guy and I am sure that he will get my business in the near future, on a budget and didn't want to pass up the deal on the exhaust. So I got the exhaust, with CAT, new O2's, Magnaflow muffler (since the primary goal of my ride is a baby hauler/grocery getter) I didn't want to go with something loud, did the ignition upgrade also. Great guy though, will buy from again for sure.

I'm with you on that, Mike, that's why I went with the Flowmaster 70 Series. My order is still being processed, but I look forward to hearing the difference once it's been installed.

What kind of ignition upgrade did you get?

$263.... that is a great price. is that a 3" kit? This is what i just purchased from Kolak:

Kolak Performance 3" exhaust components (Magnaflow high flow converter, Flowmaster 50 series muffler, mandrel bent tailpipe)
Item # 1998 ZJ 5.2 V8 $332.00

What I want to know here is why Nick Kolak is charging different prices for different jeepforum members, especially since i gave him $1555.00 worth of business.

note: i know the masterflow 50 may be a little more than the 40 series, but not about $60

Anyone know whats going on here? Nick i'm interested in hearing you chime in here. I may e-mail you as well about this. Just got the tracking #s today, thank you.

edit: as someone stated Nick is a good guy to work with and i don't want to bash him, just wondering whats going on with the prices.

their is a 2.5" kit and a 3" kit. I think the 263 is the bottom of the barrel 2.5" kit.

There's a lot of different permutations so I'm charging different prices to different JeepForum members because of numerous vehicle variants there are. The Flowmaster 40 is $40.00 less expensive than the Flowmaster 50, for example. And the Magnaflow mufflers that I use in the quietest systems are even less expensive than the Flowmaster 40 series. I6 systems are less expensive than V8 systems. WJ systems are more expensive than ZJ systems in general. OBDI systems are less than OBDII. Systems with precats require specific variants of converter and even may need a resonator, and on and on and on...
