It's a good idea to match new surfaces.
New rotor suface / new pad surface.

Replacing only one of the two can result in uneven wear and brake shimmy.

Personally... I always liked Bendix.
Good american made pads.
Although they dont make the Fleet Duty (trucks, cops cars, taxis) pads for the grand cherokees. I loved thos pads. They locked the wheels of my old Crown Vic right up.

Just stick with the name brands like Bendix or Raybestos and you should be good.

I would think if Brembo makes that good of a rotor then they should have pads to match? No? The company must know what they are doing... I mean... its the stock rotors and pads on Ferarris.
