Stupid Rotor Question
well my wj rotors are basically shot and im gonna buy some brembos on tire rack but a stupid and probably obvious question. do i have to buy new pads aswell? my pads are like 75%. thanks i know...

It's a good idea to match new surfaces.
New rotor suface / new pad surface. Replacing only one of the two can result in uneven wear and brake shimmy. |

if im running thoes brembos on tire rack can you suggest a good pad to go with them?

Personally... I always liked Bendix.
Good american made pads. Although they dont make the Fleet Duty (trucks, cops cars, taxis) pads for the grand cherokees. I loved thos pads. They locked the wheels of my old Crown Vic right up. Just stick with the name brands like Bendix or Raybestos and you should be good. I would think if Brembo makes that good of a rotor then they should have pads to match? No? The company must know what they are doing... I mean... its the stock rotors and pads on Ferarris. |
