Stripped front axles and hubs now I dont have park?

Is this possible? I have my 95 limited with fulltime 4wd in park and it wont stop rolling. I'm guessing that I stripped out the axles or axle hubs on my way home. I can sit still, in gear, with my foot on the brake and my front driveshaft, axles, and everything else spins.

Ok, now that I've given you guys and gals a little story. Would this cause my jeep to not lock in park?

it could get so bad the front shafts will spin and catch fire from the friction. You will have flames pouring out the sides as you run down the interstate.
Other drivers will so you pass with glowing red hot hubs.

Any 93-95 GC with fulltime 4x4 will roll in park if the front driveshaft is removed or can otherwise spin freely.

it's not far from an open center differential, but it's not quite the same thing.

The 249 is basically an open diff with a viscous coupling in the middle. When one driveshaft spins faster than the other, the VC heats up and becomes partially locked. Due to design changes, 93-95 249s will roll in park with a D/S removed, 96-98 won't. 93-95 are not locked in 4LO, 96-98 are.

Update:

Took the hubs and axles out and found that both cv joint boots were torn and everything on the inside was missing from the driver side axle. It's amazing how much better this thing drives now. I increased 3mpg and I think it solved the control problems on the highway. w00t w00t!
