Strange issue, any input?

So my power steering pump is making some horrible noises. With over 200k miles, I figure she's about due for a replacement. I know I have the steering assist, and my build sheet says it's equipped with the tow package, so I know to make sure to get the right pump.

My issue is that 2 days ago I was driving to work in the morning, and when I made a left turn, all of my interior lights came on and my VIC started beeping saying my passenger door was open? It did the same thing this morning, only when I make left turns, and only when I have my headlights on.

Does anyone have any clue where to start looking for issues? I'm not sure if it's related to the pump going bad, or if I need to be looking for a short somewhere. Tomorrow I'm going to check fuses and relays to see if anything has blown and plan to replace the pump by the end of the weekend. If I figure it out, I'll be sure to post back.

The good news is that that weird problem isn't related to the power steering pump. The bad news is that that weird problem is an electrical gremlin rearing its ugly head. My first thought is that it's something with the headlight switch, like a bad solder joint or something. But there could be something else causing it. It's not something that I've ever had happen to me. Hopefully someone else will chime in with a more definitive answer.

I don't know how to make this link clickable, so it has to be copied and pasted. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
