Tow package includes a Dana 44? Because i have Dana 30 front and 35 up front with 3.73 all stock from what i know..

it isnt concrete as there are always the odd balls but

3.55- 4.0

3.73- v8 and 4.0 equipped with tow package

and as far as axles the front is a d30 the rear is
4.0- d35
93-95 v8- d35
96-98 v8- d44a

so befumo: with a 4.0 you have a d30 in front and a d35 in the rear and depending on the tow package either 3.55 or 3.73. but this isnt concrete. just wide sweeping generalization. you occasionally hear of people who are exceptions to the rule but it isnt certain. get down under the vehicle and check the diff tags. it will say 3 55 or it will say 3 73 somewhere on it.

Ah i see, big mistake on my part should of checked the tags.
