stock flex? don't mind if i do!!

Was out getting the ZJ a little muddy today, and thought I'd stop for a flex shot, of the very so capable stock suspension.

Actually that's pretty good flex for stock.

Now just think how much you could get when you start lifting it, I happened upon an XJ on one of my local boards that has crazy flex...sorry I couldn't resist posting it.

Interesting pic of the XJ. He's converted to coils in the rear and one of them is really unseated.

Not bad. Is there a particular reason your 'stock' '93 has '96+ style badging and a tailgate w/seperate-opening glass?

#27. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

I noticed.. That with the crazy flex.. it looks like the rear-axle turns, Coz look, The jeep is slightly turned, but the axle is slightly turned as well, but the other direction

Nice flex, bTW.

Yep, its called rear steer and its a common problem with 4link/track bar suspension setups.

If you were to flex your ZJ out (with longer springs for more articulation), you'd see the same thing.

The previous owner ran a body shop. The ZJ was in an accident and had to have the front fender replaced, so after replacing, the guy decided to repaint/rebadge it with newer style badging. As for the tailgate, again, running a body shop, he happened upon a newer style tailgate, and decided to swap it on. Bad part is, the window and wiper aren't wired up properly. So I have to manually trigger the latch for the window, and I'm SOL as far as the wiper goes. That's kinda my wintertime project is to get those operating correctly. Heh. Good eye, though.
