How do you like your turning radius. I have 31's stock for a while but it really annoyed me after a few weeks so I took them off again until I get some rims with less backspace. And did you shim the steering stops or are you relying on your ears to not rub on the LCA and sway bar...

Did you happen to take any measurements to see if you gained much clearance?

I was considering doing the same thing but I was told it would rub when turning tight. Is there a spacer I can place on the hub that would move the wheels out an inch or two so I wouldn't have to buy new rims to move them out?

Plastic gaurds, do you mean the inner fender? Do they rub at all at full flex?

My 97 ZJ is stock height and I am running 31x10.50 Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo tires on the Jeep ECCO wheels. I trimmed my front bumper about 3/4 of an inch to provide sufficient turning clearance. I did have to put two 3/8 washers (one eash side) in the steering stops so my rims would not rub on the lower control arms at full turn. I would say I gained somewhere between 1.5-2 inches of extra ground clearance over my stock 235/75 wheel/tire setup (which was around 27 inches). I will try and get some pics up soon to show you all what it looks like. Here is a link to how you adjust/shim your steering stops. Hope this helps!
