still learnin

i have a 94 zj with a 5.2l v8 thats full time 4wheel and i was wonderin if anyone could help me figure out what transfer case i have now and what they would recomend if i wanted to swap it out

right now you have the 249 if the VC is still good there's not much need to swap unless you really want 2WD option

242 is probably the most popular option with the 231 as an alternative... the difference between the 2 is the 242 has the full time 4WD option

On a 94 I beleave the swap is pretty in-depth there is a writeup on it on here that should answer all the technical questions on the swap.
