Steering Stabilizer Install.

So, here I am braving the cold to install my OME Steering
Stabilizer. I get the cotter pin out, I get the castle nut off, and I get teh nut and bold off on the other side. The bolt/pin that goes through the tie rod will just not come out. I tried tapping/banging on it with a maul and a dowel. I tried putting a wrench on the back side and turning it to break it loose. I even put a cheater on my wrench to get more leverage and it is about to strip but not move. I soaked it in WD. What do I need? If I have to buy a tool I will.......I mean I hate having a tool for everything.

go to auto zone, or your local auto parts store and they will loan you a tie tod puller. i had the same problem a week ago. beat the **** out of that bolt and wouldnt come out. the tie rod puller is really easy to do. just slide the clamp end over the tie rod with the bolt that is on the puller directily under the bolt on the tie rod. start turning that bolt and when it makes contact with the bolt on the tie rod it will push it out. have fun and enjoy.

Finally got it off. I had to Jack it up a little and turn the wheel hard left.

I had the same problem getting the stabilizer out of the drag link, I ended up buying a tie rod end puller to get it out.
