No because you already have a v8. Nothing substitutes for power more than cubic inches ... nothing

The computer will "correct" what the chip tries to "improve". So don't even bother putting a chip in.

You only win if you do not want to keep your vehicle for a long time. You must be young and love the film "the fast & furious"

An engine not designed by the engineers for this type of power will not last more than a year or two.

If you own a 4.0L engine and really want more power than trade-up to the 4.7L.

If that is not enough then swap it out for a 5.9L or trade up for the 5.7L Hemi.

Otherwise you have to sink to much money into it and then you have to worry about if the trany and diffs can take that added power.

So the bottom line is if you really want more power (that you can feel at the gas pedal) and have it for a long time than cubic inches is the only way to go. (old school thinking but it works!)

That way you can sleep at night and have a solid vehicle.

Thought for the day:

He's not old enough to drink yet so, that couldn't have been a PUI post. He meant to add the chip in.
