06 SRT8 front bumper on 05 Limited

I have a 2005 JGC LTD. I was wondering if anyone knew if you could put a SRT8 Front bumper on it. I really like the front ends of the SRT8 and I think it would add to the appearance of the vehicle. Any thoughts?

I'm sure it can be done, but an SRT-8 bumper will probably cost you $1000 at the dealership

I wonder if you can just buy the whole body kit. I know they sell body kits thru Mopar for the WK's, but the body kit for the JGC LTD isnt nearly as nice as the SRT-8's body kit. I like the appearance of the SRT-8 more. I would of bought one if the towing and off road ability of it didnt suck. Then again thats not what it is marketed as either.

99.9 percent positive it will work. the other thing you need to consider other then price is if you buy the bumper, the agate color fascia accent will likely not be included. as the fog lights which differ from non SRT WK. With different foglights likely come different fog light mounts. your best bet is wait until someone wrecks an SRT8 and sells the complete front bumper on ebay. that way you get everything all at once instead of trying to figure out a confusing mess of hardware differences. might take sometime but may be worth the wait. oh and if you 4 wheel, which you might not, that bumper will kill your approach angle...

For the price it would cost to make your WK look like the SRT-8 you should just trade yours in for a real SRT-8

i wouldnt say that, but i think the front end is a little too low to the ground in comparison with the rest of the body kit. I think that if you put the front end on a regular Grand Cherokee it would out of place especially without the SRT8 rims. It would look like you put a head gear on a grand cherokee.(you know, that ugly thing the orthodontist made you wear at night if you had braces).

It would be better to just buy an SRT8, then you would atleast have the "Go" to go with the "Show"...

I know youre not looking for my opinion and you can do whatever you like with your money and your Jeep, but if I were you I would just put the money into lifting your jeep or trade it in for an real SRT8.
