Squeaky suspension?!?!

This is bugging me. My suspension squeaks!! I think it's mostly the front. Whenever I go over some bumps it does it. Does anybody have an idea of what it could be?

I know my suspension used to make an "eeking" noise when i went over a bump (more so when it was cold out), but if its a short high pitched sqeak, it could be your front sway bar bushings.

There is a service bulletin out on the problem. I had mine fixed under warrenty. You can go to wjjeeps.com and check it out. I don't remember the bulletin number, sorry.

bushings would be the first culprit i'd think

also, when was the last time you greased?

Me personally, never... I've only had the Jeep for a couple months. The only thing i've greased are the new bushings on my Addco rear anti-sway bar.

Try this web site out. It's the actual TSB posted on WJJeeps.com

http://www.wjjeeps.com/tsb_list.htm#0200204a

The front suspension on my 2004 JGC is doing the same thing. The Jeep Service Manager knew exactly what I was describing over the phone and as a result, I have an appointment to take it in on Monday morning.

Good luck on getting the problem fixed and enjoy the Jeep.

Thanks! I was looking in the wrong spot. I also saw a bulletin for "wind like sound at top rear corner of front door" which is bugging me too. While I'm at the shop, I need to get a key programmed, I only have one so I can't do it myself. What's the stealership charge to do this?

I have the same problem....

Especially in cold weather. I cannot access the TSB link you gave. Is the site down?

Can you briefly describe what it said?

Many thanks

Lube the swaybar bushings. The squeak will go away.
