What's the standard speaker size front and rear? I need to replace mine.

Thanks

Six and a half inch front and rear. And the inifity amp is a two ohm setup for better sound bypass it.when you put in the new four ohm speakers. Or locate two ohm speakers.

On my 97, it's 6.5 inch speakers. I went to crutchfield, verified the size, bought a pair off amazon, and put them in. They were the right size. Just make sure you don't get speakers that are too deep, or you'll have to space them out from the door.

They're technically 6.75in shallow mount speakers. 6.5in speakers work just fine. I have 4 6.5in pioneer speakers in all my doors, and 2 6.5in JVC speakers custom fabricated into the rear hatch. I've got plenty of bass, but I'm wanting to rewire the tweeters in the dash for better highs.

What's a good tweeter for the dash without having to cut any mounting brackets?

stock is shallow 6.75" components front and coax rear. they're kind of a rare aftermarket. so just get 6.5 with adapters. make sure you get 2ohm if retaining stock amp.

'97 zj 5.2, some stuff, some other suff, and some things that even work sometimes.

Thanks for your input guys.

What's the difference between 2ohm and 4? Will 4ohm not work with my amp? Also what size are the tweeters?

4ohm will work with the amp but where as the amp is a 2ohm amp it will affect sound a little bit. I had the factory amp pumping four ohm speakers and when I bypassed the amp gained some volume and clarity.

yeah, the amp will not be able to put as much wattage into 4ohm as it does the 2ohm, and it works harder to do it. so you lose some top end and clarity. most people never notice such things though.

I personally didn't notice it until installing the same component speakers into my buddies non amp equipped Laredo.
