spark plugs

What spark plugs would you recomend for my jeep. its a 1997 5.2 with 98k miles.

ive allways used bosh platinum, in every vehichle i own.
never had any problems.

HEY DEREK...THAT ALL DEPENDS ON ANY MODIFICATION.....ooppss didn't notice the caps on. I always used Bosch platinum till I went with all my mods and was suggested to use Autolites with a colder range. Like I said it all depends on if you plan on modding...if not then you can't go wrong with Bosch.

I just replaced the plugs on my 'stock' 97' 5.2 V8 about 6,000 miles ago with Champion Truck Plugs. So far, so good and heard positive feedback about these plugs.
97' ZJ Limited V8 - 5.2 liter

I run Champion Truck plugs in both my jeep and they have performed very well over the years.

Just stick to OEM Champion Truck Style Plugs.

What advantages will you get using aftermarket plugs, it is something I've never understood. The guys who built your Jeep actually know a thing or two!

Old: '96 ZJ 4.0, 32" MT/R's, 4.5" Lift, Mickey Thompsons, JKS Disco's

New: '02 WJ Limited 4.7L, Stock for now

Agreed, you cannot go wrong with using whatever the owners’ manual states. Using so-called better plugs is not necessarily better.

I use plain old Autolite Resistors. They work just fine.
