Sound ?'s

What is a cheap way to make my jeep sound nice without doing any other major upgrades.

The 5.2L already sounds good.

Get a new muffler. Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Borla, Thrush, etc.

Get a new high flow catalytic converter to help even more.

Get yourself one of those electric exhaust cut outs, louder only when you need it :-)

I went with a flowmaster 40 series and deleted my cat completely on mine, I love the hollow tone the 5.2 has. It sounds really similar to my friends 04 cobra mustang with headers and an x pipe, you can't beat it and since I did the work myself I only have about $100 into it. My .02

You also broke a US federal law . Illegal activities , or suggesting them is really frowned upon on this forum . Cat removal is something the mods will be all over given your location . Only Canadians can discuss cat removal

You could do what the PO of mine did and just cut the exhaust off right behind the cat...

Figured I'd get a few of those comments. What I meant to say was I bought an overpriced high flow cat and a 40 series flowmaster and you would like the sound if you did this upgrade this will cost closer to $200 if you can do the clamping or welding yourself
