so long, fare well , adieu

I've sold my Jeep Grand Cherokee,
It had 144900 miles or so on it
I'll no longer be in the Dark Rosewood club, so I'm giving up my #7 slot.

I'm not giving up on Jeeps, as I still have my XJ, but I'll miss the cold AC, the auto climate control, the plush leather power seats, the memory seats, the keyless entry, the electric dimming mirror, the trip computer, the sunroof, the homelink, the split fold down rear seat, the cup holders, the Temp & compass, steering wheel stereo controls, and the 12 CD changer and probably most of all, the v-8 thrust. (I'll have some time to miss them as I commute in my xj while planning my next acqusition)

I won't miss the following questions though...

Will 31" tires fit on my ZJ?
How do I get a build sheet?
Does my Jeep have a LSD?
What is better, Select trac or Quadra trac?

and I don't think I'll miss the 12.5 MPG and $50 dollar fill ups.

I suspect I'll have some 4 cylinder turbo, Passat or Saab because I like forced induction.

Thanks to all that have helped make my zj ownership bearable with their expertise and desire to share information.

Kind regards
Russ

I know how you feel. I just sold my old zj limited in order to buy a TJ SE. I am going to miss all of the small things, like the thermometer, the gas mileage readout, the defrost mirrors, the light adjusting rear view, the leather, the acoustics, the space, the warmth, the quiet, the power, power seats with eighty different axises(?), the tweeters up front, tilt steering, and the fact that I could keep anything needed to go camping with me at all times, but now I drive a Wrangler, so all is well.

I'm glad you're back, because I have a question.
How do I get a build sheet for my ZJ?
Welcome back, and good luck with the LJ!

LOL - try filling up a Diesel F250...pump stopped at $100 and I paid another $20 just to "top it off" and it still didn't click off...

$50 is about half a tank around here.

I see this turning into a gas price thread, in before the lock.

75$ fillups for me, bought a honda civic. Now the ZJ is a weekend warrior, and the honda caters my butt around. The honda fill ups are about 30-35$, i filled up and top'd off 2 weeks ago and still have half a tank.
