You look so sad in the picture Perhaps if you drove West towards the mountains you would find snow?

unfortunately, i live about 30 minutes from mountains, and they have no snow either. The major ski area by me is only about 40%....usually it's my failsafe

El Nino can kiss my ***.

I just went snowboarding this past weekend.. HOWEVER.. there is a lot less snow here than there usually is (Tahoe). Weird weather everywhere... wished I lived in Colorado right now though, plenty snow there.

In Saskatoon, sk canada, there is snow, but during christmas it was anywhere between -3 and 2 celcius (26.6 to 35 farenheit) when the average should be around -12cish (10.4f). But this friday comming up its supposed to be about -25c (-13F)

Ok everyone hear about the avalanche in Colorado this past Saturday? Well I went up skiing that day. Had we been an hour later it could have been us swept away...

Here are some pics on our way back the day after the avalanche...Oh yeah, and to keep it GC related, these are taken from the back seat of my friends ZJ

Ironically about 50 ft before the avalanche - good placement

It was one slide, and when it hit the highway it split into three parts. The middle one being the biggest. Here is the first one:

The main one:

Looking up into it (It was a category 4 avalanche):

And finally, the third part:

And finally on the way back about 30 minutes away from home, they closed HW93...A highway thats nickname is "Pray for me, I drive 93"...diverted us onto this much safter road. Don't worry we could see the road sometimes:

One more pretty picture:

Holy crow thats a lot of snow

When I was in Alaska the last time, there was an avalanche, and someone had tape of a guy on a Ski-Doo Mach Z 800 trying to outrun it. They estimated his speed at about 135mph. It ran him over like he was standing still.

Scary stuff...

Same Here! (New Jersey, Jan. 6th 2007)

Had the sunroof and everything open on the highway! Couldn't believe how nice it was, VERY refreshing, but HIGHLY abnormal for this time of year...
