Slight Front end noise

Sounds like a flat spot on the tire, yet it is almost a click noise. Thinking bearing, but could be CV Joint? Noise went away when taking a a right turn, so it coul dbe bearing, but it doesn't sound like a grinding? What sayth you guys?

For stuff like this, I would just replace both. It is probably a bearing, but CV's are fairly cheap and easy to replace once the bearing is out of the way.

If your on a budget, try the hub bearing first. If it were me, I would just replace both the CV and Hub.

My thought is to do both sides, might as well since I'm in there, right? So I'll do the (2) CV Joints and bearings. Anything thing else since I'll be in there.

I'll be doing the front brakes soon anyway, so I'll get it all done at once.

Not really anything else I can think of besides brakes, but brakes are easy enough to do later.

Just be BERY carful you don't disturb the axle seal when you remove and replace the CV.

Other than a 36mm socket for the Axle Nut and a Torque wrench that can do 175 ft/lbs along with a cheater bar for breaking it loose in the first place, any speicial tools I need?

No real "special" tools required. Sometimes a portable torch helps to get the nut hot, and then loosen. Making it hot will break the rust and expand the nut which results in an easier time taking it off.

I would recommend before you start soaking the 36mm nut for a few days. Spray it down with some penetrating oil once a night for 2-3 days.

13mm twelve-point socket for the hub bearing assembly. And I recommend PB Blaster to break everything loose.

While you're in there, might as well make sure everything is tight and lubed up good. Check all the bushings you can see and grease the ball joints if you can (I say this b/c mine has greasable uppers, but sealed lowers.) Maybe a good time to look at the shocks and bushings too.
