96, when rolling, if I turn the steering wheel left and then right, or while driving, if I turn, I regularly hear a sort of "pop" when going past center, either left, or right. It doesnt feel loose, or "bad", in the steering, but obviously, its not right. Any ideas?

My money is on a worn out track bar. Probably the mount on the frame rail end.

x3 have someone with jeep running turn steering wheel back & forth (like 6 inches back n forth) while you look at all front end joints. at every end of every rod & bar.
