skim module

Help! Why does it only act up in morning shuts car off ? then ok as day goes on? thanks

What is a skim module? I have never heard of it.

also, what type of jeep are we talking about, what engine, what year?

SKIM module is the immobilizer. Give more info on your fault it doesn’t sound like it’s the SKIM module at fault from what you have said.

drr, I had the same EXACT issue you are explaining. Just had my SKIM mod replaced $500 later MY remote was not working in the mornings, will work the rest of the day. Once my car sat overnight and I would leave for work in the morning, the car was not responding to my remote! Like my car new it was too cold to react almost! SO strange, I hate having to spend all this money and this is my second module I am replacing already on my 05 GC. Had to replace the shifter module last year.
