Had Sliverstars in 97 ZJ tried Silverstar Ultras - I actually think Ultras arent as bright. Have silverstars in my 31 chopped coupe (7" round) good white light. Have them in 2002 Ford Super Crew much brighter than factory bulbs. 34

Great work
I am just waiting for them to come in and I'll post about the HIR bulb experience.

On the HID side after some searching of that "other" forum seems many have already retro fitted those terrible looking aftermarket projector housings with proper HID projectors with good, but somewhat fugly results. I'd still like to see a factory housing HID retrofit. This guy did one and had posted a .pdf file of the details that is not available anymore. Anyone have it? I guess a laredo housing would look a little better & more stealthy during the day. Pics from this site http://faqlight.carpassion.info/car-with-conv-oem-halo-projectors.htm

Thats actually a pretty good retrofit, I would have choosen a different shroud though. Huge projector though, Hella bi-xenon perhaps?

:whistling:

I'm melting the pavement below the cutoff, yet a blackhole of darkness exists over the cutoff. Also, for anyone interested, there are some HID kits on ebay for about 100 dollars shipped. There not the highest quality, but get some 4300k capsules with it and you'll hate the idea of halogens.

Hella yes, unsure if they are bi-xenon or not.

User clarion dude put two bi-xenons (one for low, one for high beam) in an aftermarket housing over on that other forum...he's also done single bi-xenon hellas in another set of ebay projectors

I'm really not a fan of those ebay projecto setups. I mean angel eyes, white led's? pretty rice, especially for a jeep. even though that projector setup would improve lighting far beyond a simple bulb swap
