I'm not quite sure how you feel about this...

Is there any other way we could help you to feel more "comfortable" in order to persuade you to communicate the deep, inner feelings on this?

Sure provide me with an alternate lift kit for the WJ besides the Clayton and something more than 2" I already have the BB 2" lift. Unless I read RE's web site wrong they don't make a lift for the WJ. And here's my thinking...there may be some dealers out there were you can "piece" together all the required parts. However, to me...if they are a "good" dealer with a decent product...it's hard for me to understand why they wouldn't make a "kit" to sell. I personally don't like the idea of having to "piece" together a kit. I also understand what I like and what my options are two different things.

Why not give kolak a call. Everyone around here seems to think he sells a great setup.

Kevins 4" lift kit includes:
JKS adjustable track bar
JKS rear adjustable LCA's
RE front adjustable UCA's and LCA's
Tereflex springs and rear A-arm spacer
The rear sway bar end links are either by Kevin or Teraflex depending on how busy he is. He started making his own.

Is a good kit

If you don't like to piece together the best parts or you don't want to buy them from Kevin or Nick who piece together the best parts, then I suggest you buy the non pieced together Tera or RK POS kit that comes in a shinny package.

I would actually like it if you got the 6.5" kit I need a review. It is much easier for me to suggest to someone else to waste their cash, then for me to do it myself.

However, the thought of a bolt on LA kit is terrifing. I don't know maybe it is the thought of my axle mounts being secured to my frame by bolts when traveling at 60 mph. I am kind of a wuss that way.

I know you don't want to spend the money on Clayton's kit, well IMO if you don't want/have the money to do LAs correctly. There is no cheap way to do LA or 4" SA for that matter.

Actually in retrospect there is no way to do anything cheap on WJ unless you like your jeep cobbled.

So if you want cheap, and I mean this in all seriousness, (meaning I have even given this a thought) sell your WJ and buy a gently used Mall Crawlin TJ and go to town.

Hey,

here's a thread for you. If you don't like it, go to www.kevinsoffroad.com and under WJ lifts, you'll find what you need.

yeah the bashing isnt aimed at you, its aimed at the product. BUT the bashing is also going on, even with the new X-factor kit with ZERO reviews (that ive seen) out there for it...no one here has experience with the new kit or ownership.

I feel a group hug happening.

That wasn't bashing. However, when people who have the kit that you want don't like it. Wouldn't you like the truth?

We, Mods here take a lot of effort to give you the best info both pros and cons on the kits that people want. I've asked repeatedly for Grand drivers running different brands of lifts to send me DETAILED pros and cons about them. Why, that way we can pass that information along to you. Making your Grand experience, just that....Grand.

I feel sad you never asked for my opinion.
Count me in the group hug.

Ramon,

the last time you got a hug, you didn't call or write for three weeks.
